The Department of 儿科 at the newbb电子平台 Heritage College of 整骨疗法的医学 consists of board-certified pediatricians and Ph.D. 研究人员. Established as a department in 1997, faculty members provide classroom and clinical pediatric education to Heritage College medical students, 实习生和住院医生. As teachers, they are involved in all levels of training for osteopathic medical students. This includes classroom teaching and providing clinical contact experiences for Year I and II students, clinical precepting for Year III and IV students, and rotations with 实习生和住院医生. In addition to the educational component of the department, the clinical pediatric faculty provide services to children living in southeastern Ohio and conduct medical research.

    Dr. Shaohua王, assistant professor of medical microbiology, is a relative newcomer to the Heritage College of 整骨疗法的医学, joining the college seven months ago. We took some time to sit down with her and discuss her research, her time at the Heritage College and what initially drew her to microbial studies.

  • What to expect when you're at a medical school obstetrics lab

    At twenty-four weeks pregnant, I participated in the Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy Lab with Heritage College of 整骨疗法的医学 students. The second-year medical students eagerly waited in the large lab room filled with dozens of medical tables, while the other participants and I waited in the third-floor hallway of the new and impressive 遗产厅.
