2024年秋季提前到达8月8日星期六. 17, 2024, is available to students who need to arrive before the traditional fall 2024 move in due to activities such as STEMstart or assisting with fall opening activities and employment. A supplemental application is required, and additional housing/dining costs are associated with approved early arrivals. Additional information about Early Arrival will be available in June 2024.

STEMstart students: You must register on the 房屋自助服务页面 in June 2024, and on 星期六,8月. 17, you must check in and move into your 学生宿舍 before you check into the STEMstart program at 5 p.m.

关于STEMstart

STEMstart introduces incoming first-year students (freshmen) to the expectations of college-level science and math courses—and provides a road map to resources and study skills that will help students succeed as a science major.

Science students are invited to come to newbb电子平台 a week before fall classes. This science quick start program is designed to help students transition from high school into college-level biology, 化学和数学课程. Texts and resources will be available online.

Join faculty members and get immersed in your textbook, 课堂讲座, 实验室的实验, 实地考察. Get to know peer mentors who've been there and know how to navigate that first year of math, chemistry and biology successfully. Tour campus resources that can help as you wade through the expectations and challenges that make college different from high school.

如何申请

申请的最后期限: The priority application deadline was June 30.

资格: All science majors, including undecided science majors, who are first-year (freshmen).

费用及付款期限: The program cost is a total of $1,000. That includes a program fee of $650 and a Residence Life early move in cost of $125 for housing and the suggested eight meal plan at $80. Students also are strongly encouraged to have at least $50 in Bobcat Cash available. (Residence Life and early arrival meal plans will be billed to the student's Fall semester account.) The STEMstart Program Fee of $650 must be paid online by July 31 after accepting the program. No refunds will be made after July 31.

Scholarships are available for students with need, thanks to generous donors; please indicate interest in your application.
